Something terrible happened yesterday. My roof did not close so I used the VCDS method to close it.

The result:
This went wrong and now it is completely broken. Little springs and pieces of black and white plastic everywhere
(you are allowed to laugh, so did I) The glass roof went completely out of the rails and the place where the horizontal beam attaches to the front was 10 cm off, so it ended next to the car. I forgot to make pictures of that. The noises were horrifying The paint came off.
Here are some pictures of the mess I made. We managed to close it
Now I found a second-hand roof off another car for not too much money, in the right color.
Does someone have experience with changing a complete roof cassette? There are probably a few do's and don'ts. They want me to get it out of the donor-car myself and I have never done that. Thanks in advance.
